estimators for econometric models, following the unified
framework of Golan (2008) &lt;doi:10.1561/0800000004&gt;. Provides
Generalized Maximum Entropy (GME) and Generalized Cross-Entropy
(GCE) estimators for linear regression, instrumental variables,
one-way error-component panel data, multinomial response,
matrix balancing, and first-order Markov transition matrices,
together with pure and noisy inverse-problem solvers. All
estimators use the concentrated (dual) formulation for
computational efficiency and report normalized-entropy,
entropy-ratio, and Fano-bound diagnostics.</description><link>https://github.com/r-universe/genmaxent/actions/runs/38131194826</link><pubDate>Fri, 11 Sep 2026 09:12:02 GMT</pubDate><r:package>infometrics</r:package><r:version>0.3.0</r:version><r:status>success</r:status><r:repository>https://genmaxent.r-universe.dev</r:repository><r:upstream>https://github.com/genmaxent/infometrics_r</r:upstream><r:article><r:source>gme-gce-regression.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>gme-gce-regression.html</r:filename><r:title>Generalized Maximum Entropy and Cross-Entropy for the Linear Model</r:title><r:created>2026-07-27 12:34:31</r:created><r:modified>2026-08-30 04:56:19</r:modified></r:article><r:article><r:source>inverse-problems.Rmd</r:source><r:filename>inverse-problems.html</r:filename><r:title>Pure Inverse Problems: Maximum Entropy and Cross-Entropy</r:title><r:created>2026-07-13 16:57:44</r:created><r:modified>2026-07-13 16:57:44</r:modified></r:article></item></channel></rss>
